There are over 450 Taxi stands in Paris, which all have blue signs with "Taxi" written in white. Available Taxi cabs have their white Taxi signs light on.

The Taxi stands are located at street corners, outside Metro stations, outside official buildings and at the airports.

The cab ride rates vary a bit if you travel in the city or if you travel to the suburbs. The normal price is a bit above 1 Euro per kilometer in the city. You can add about 0.2 Euro per kilometer for trips to the suburbs. The rates also increase at nights (7 PM - 7 AM).

You can order a cab yourself, but keep in mind that you have to pay for the trip to the pick up address.
