Metro in Paris

Paris is a Great European City where you can reach many of the city's sights and museums by foot. But sometimes the Paris Metro system will be a most welcome alternative. The Paris underground system is quite comprehensive and relatively easy to understand.

Tickets

You buy tickets on the stations. It is also possible to buy coupons (10 trips), which can be quite an advantage to escape the queues when you buy single tours. These coupons can also be bought in several of Paris' tobacco stores, and gives you a small discount on each trip.

Maps

Outside every Metro station there is big map offering an overview of the Paris Metro network. It is also possible to get a free map in most of the Metro stations.
