Luxembourg Garden - Photo: Gaute NordvikThe beautiful Luxembourg Garden (Jardin du Luxembourg) is with it's more than 224.000 square meter the largest park in Paris. The garden is located in the 6th arrondissement close to the Sorbonne university and the Latin Quarter.

The garden which is populated with sculptures and several fountains is today a popular place for Parisians to seek calm in beautiful surroundings.
There are also many activities offered for visitors to the Luxembourg Garden. The younger ones can watch puppet shows and borrow remote controlled boats which they can use in the big pool in the middle of the park.

The Luxembourg Garden has varied opening hours depending on which month you are visiting the park. The garden opens approximately at 8.00 AM and close sometime between 5.00 and 10.00 PM
